Rivers 06:05
Is there some calling to me, where the rivers meet the dark sea? Do I have a calling too? Or is my calling simply you? I never knew all my love I never knew what it was The sleepy maladjusted, can't beat whats been digested No wallow in defeat, dreams of all those still to meet cause He never knew all his love He never knew what it was You say you want it You say you need it You say you'll change it Well why don't you?

Rewind 05:20
I don't know what I want I don't know anything at all To say you're just ok would be a lie, a really empty lie I'm on a brand new mission With zero motivations And if I find a special something That would be alright, yeah that would be just fine Something in yr. eye reflected into mine So I saw it too wrapped in heat waves of blue I was much obliged to come and sit inside In the bathroom barely breathing near the roaches on the ceiling Fingers under sheets and me with my pants still on I'm an odd one, always was the odd one... And this was so very long ago Why's it still creeping round in my skull looking down the road? I don't know ... Falling asleep at the controls off whiskey shots and smoke Is not like me, its just like me I'm scared of me...go take a walk You're fearful, hopeful, woeful, barely visible, somehow miserable And you're stuck in rewind, all of the time....
3.
End of the day, where did it all go? Hello after party thoughts, why are you so? Everywhere at once, bounce back and break the spell Yeah you've got a lot of nerve to act like things aren't well Believe in... The morning... The morning comes around... I keep my distance, I don't know why And on the fringes there is one light I keep the terror that it confines I'm none existent, if i could just.... Believe in... The morning... The morning comes around...

Split Skull 04:23
Sometimes I cross my heart and hope to die But every time I do, every time I do I can't wait to come back again, back into my stronger self And every time I try, every time I try.... Passing pieces of the day, does he have a savage head? Every night in bed, every night in bed Wasting all his good time looking at past good times And it should be a crime, it should be a crime.... It's the coldest night of the year You know I need you here...

June Bug 02:31
Found a june bug in her pretty hair Found a june bug in her pretty hair Found a june bug in her pretty hair Found a june bug in her pretty hair.....

Footprints 05:11
The lion tamer is me clutch my saber It feels like we'll never wake up Watch. Out. The sun will come and walk around I. Wait. Stuck inside the underground I don't know whats in me, footprints near chimneys Inside and outside are all clusters Watch. Out. The sun will come and walk around I. Wait. Stuck inside the underground All these people, all these people If I touch em' are they real? Or will my hands go through? All I know is they're pretty good on you You do what you want to do You always do...
8.
Stitch 05:30
Now I just get lost inside the crowd Inside the kingdom, they want me blind and dumb I need you, icing cuts with sunshine I need you, stitching up my lonely Nobodies holding a gun to our heads Not grinning, I'm grinding my teeth away Nobodies holding a gun to our heads And that only proves us right Far from the street lights, found the forest floor And what might have been, it would have changed our worlds ... I need you, icing cuts with sunshine I need you, stitching up my lonely Nobodies holding a gun to our heads Not grinning, I'm grinding my teeth away Nobodies holding a gun to our heads And that only proves us right
9.
Cloud Grids 06:06
So it's decided, split up divided, my home is a landscape where my frightened forest eyes will wake, up in the cloud grids, strange to the strange kids, oh I watch them trying, with bedroom blues denying the outside... She is what I need now, with keys on her warm skin, still I'm here in the smokey sunlight, third floor up and nothing feels right, inside the kingdom everyones just anyone, the screens will hollow out my skull so I don't have to think no more Well everyone in my neighborhood is doing just fine So if you think that things could change you must have lost your god damn mind Yeah everyone I ever see is really nice, they're just like me So if you think that shit could change, well you won't get any help from me Cause I like my country but I love my money And you won't get a fucking cent from me.......

about

"Following what felt like years of putting out quality singles and EPs time after time after time, Austin-based artist Milezo has finished his debut album. Entitled 'Where the Rivers Meet the Dark Sea', it's 9 tracks of delicately constructed, deftly executed pop songs that beautifully combine ambient electronics with subtle guitar work and Miles' slightly nasal but utterly charming vocals - with everything written, performed, recorded, and produced by the man himself. Take that, Mike "As far as I'm aware I'm the only person in the world who does that" Skinner."
